Frank was born Janurary 29, 1891 in Dusejov, Czech Republic. He was brought over to America by his parents, Jan and Josefa, and older brother Joseph. Like his father, he was in the tailoring trade, but only learned how to be a clothing cutter.

He married Hedwig L. Mantel (b. July 17, 1891) on November 17, 1915.

They had two children:

Elmer John Vopal, b. September 14, 1919. He married Arlene M. Dennis (b. December 6, 1917) on April 22, 1950. Elmer passed away on February 28, 1995.

Gladys M. Vopal, b. August 14, 1922. She married John W. Differding, wedding date unknown.

Elmer tried to research the Vopalensky family along with his cousin, James (son of John). He wrote down several stories and memories about the Vopals and Mantels.

Frank loved the outdoors. His favorite hobbies were gardening and fishing. He often went on fishing trips with other family members.

William Gerald Vopal, b. August 8, 1958. Married Linda Diane Schenk, (b.d. July 20 year unknown) on June 24, 1989.
