THEME WORKSHOPS
Through song, poetry and folk traditions the artist
explores a variety of themes including friendship, conflicting feelings,
death and dying.
HISTORY
Parlour games, family stories, or the diary of
a young immigrant girl are tools for creatively exploring 19th Century
Canadian history. Song and poetry are integral parts of these workshops.
CELEBRATIONS
Students participate in traditional celebrations
for those special times of the year. Many celebrations are possible but
some favourites are; Festival of Lights for winter, Chinese New Year, Halloween.
