Life, Love, Nothing
by: Len Clark
8/29/90

I used to believe
That love is all you need
Then reality hit
It's not love, it's greed

Money did the talking
I listened
My love did the walking
I ignored

Now I live my life
For Money and Wealth
It stole from me my love
And robbed me of my health

I could never wish it back
My love is now my pain
This life forced her to leave
Now it is all in vain

A rich man lies dead
Unknown and unloved
He lived like he loved
Nothing
