Writings
"A poem need not have a meaning and like most things
in nature often does not have."
Wallace Stevens (1879-1955), U.S. poet. Opus Posthumous, "Adagia"
(1959)
"All bad poetry springs from genuine feeling. To
be natural is to be obvious, and to be obvious is to be inartistic."
-- Oscar Wilde
Most of the preceeding poems were written by an immature, confused
17-year old. A few of them were written by an immature, confused 24-year
old. Please keep that in mind.
