Okay, I used to just have this as a bunch of paragraphs of general writing ... but I ramble too much for that, so I'm changing the format. :)
My name: The two handles I use at the moment are Elspeth and Stardust04. (I'm on the lookout for another, more unique handle. Those two are marvy and all, but they're pretty common, and I hate that!)
Gender: Female.
Age, Birthday, & Sun sign: I'm 19 years old, and my birthday is January 11, 1980, which makes me a Capricorn.
Siblings: Nope, nary a one.
Location: Oregon, USA.
Stuff I Love: Music. The Beatles. The Monkees. The 60's. Writing. Tea. Pickles. Pasta. Other stuff, too, but my mind has just gone blank (not exactly an unusual occurance).
Music: I'll listen to just about anything, but my favorites are generally stuff from the 60's. I love the Beatles and the Monkees (okay, yes, I realize the Monkees were a TV show about a fictional band, but I don't care. They made neat music.), swing, Janis Joplin, the Phantom of the Opera, Les Mis, Simon and Garfunkel, The Doors ... umm ... there are a lot of bands that I like well enough, but I only know a few of their songs. Like - oh, the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix. I do actually listen to some modern music on occasion, but I prefer the 60's. More soul. :)
Favorite TV show: The Monkees, of course, and Remember WENN, which you probably haven't heard of, and which just GOT CANCELED!!! *sob!*, and some others, but I don't watch a lot of TV generally, so ... y'know. Also ... I love stuff like Biography (on A&E) and Behind the Music (VH1) and that sort of thing, where I find out weird trivia and stuff I didn't know. Call me weird.
Favorite color(s): Purple. Green. Silver. Black. Blue. But mostly purple, the darker blue-violet shades.
Favorite actors and actresses: Val Kilmer, Audrey Hepburn, Mae West. Some other people I can't think of at the moment.
My standing on Titanic: I swear, if I hear "My Heart Will Go On" ONE MORE TIME, I'm going to go completely stark raving mad and stand on a tall building picking people off with an AK-47 or something. I mean, Titanic was a good movie and all, but I'm utterly sick of hearing about it. Y'know what I mean?
Best friend: Amanda, aka Dysis. She's a year and a half older than I am, but if it wasn't for the fact that we look about as different as two people possibly can, I'd swear we were separated at birth.
Other stuff: I ramble a lot (as you may be beginning to notice). Eventually I'll probably put some of my rantings on the website somewhere. After all, what's the point of having a web page if you can't foist your opinions onto the unsuspecting populace, right? [*grin*]
I'm - well, basically, I'm really a bit of a hippie. And not only that, I enjoy being one. :)
I collect quotes and trivia ... I have one of those minds that retain only utterly useless information, like the number of times the Beatles played at the Cavern Club (292), and forget things like my name and age. :)
Also, I became a vegetarian (lacto-ovo) on November 27th, 1998 ... the day after Thanksgiving, strangely enough.
I work at an Apothecary (that's basically a natural foods & medicines store) and it's tons of fun, but it means I don't have much time online, so revisions and updates are even more infrequent these days...
