These days I am creating a new visual identity for a scientific magazine
for graphic arts industry. It is called Acta Graphica and it entering its' 10th year
of of publication. The editors want something new, something modern but connected
with the old identity of the magazine. Its' current size is A5 and is printed in combination of
two colours that vary from year to year.

I decided to enlarge the format to B5 and got an approval from the client. So, now I am
thinking about the cover page in more or less the same confinements of printing and binding options
(meaning two to three colours at most, soft binding and plastification).

Here are some solutions I already executed.

The second one I imagined as combination of two colours: blue, for title and all other information, and beige for base. Also, I want this to be executed with matte plastification and just the dark blue quadrant glossy.

The third is combination of blue and white base of the paper.

the fourth is: navy blue, white and yellow for the illustration.

The last one is just navy blue and white.
