Self-taught artist residing in Tallmadge,Ohio. Married
to George (writer),4 "kids" (almost all adults!), Steve, computer god to
me, Michael, artist, Robin, dancer, and Jon, artist. One grandson
(so far) Mathew. Breed and show collies (roughs and smooths) and
Tennesee Walking Horses. I paint acrylics and oils, sculpt
in many mediums, do pen and ink and also pencil. My work is what
I would call realist. I always sign my work "Alexander" (my maiden
name). I do monthly illustrations for the Recovery Journal and illustrations
for Summit County Agricultural Society Fair book 1994-1998.
I have done several corporte commisssions, including a mural for the vault
328, in Akron, OH, DMRacing, Ashland,OH, & B.P. Gas, Nashville, OH.
Also for several other farms and businesses. I have my work in private
collections throughout the United States and Canada.
