The Sea, Pee, The Sea...Brighton
| This is a picture of the seaside at Brighton. All of the buildings share a singular, unified architecture that has been maintained for a long time. John's flat is just a block from the pebbly beach. The white cliffs for which Dover is famous, begin here. It was a chilly February day by the sea, which is a phenomenal green. The Royal Pavillion is here. I'll try and get a picture up. But if you like Gaudi, you'll like this thing. This the church in Alfriston, near Brighton. It was what many would probably think a typical English day: cold, misty and gray. The buildings there are awesomely old to us loud Americans: one was at least 200 years older than our nation! We met two lovely ladies there who wondered why it was I was taking their picture. John said he had heard that they were royalty and they didn't even blink, but continued their walk. Americans are very loud. Yeah, that's me, by the sea at Brighton.
