Alright! Enough is enough. I've been listening to this for days straight. I come home from work. I turn it on. I promise that I will write a review of it. I don't. Instead I read email. I chat with pals online. I shop. I do everything but write about this.

Why?

Because it is pleasing. Because it is beautiful. Because it is subliminal. I can hear the beauty and passion of this simple piece and never be distracted from what I am doing. And yet, I can tune into the "Requiem" movement and be astounded by it's majesty. I can listen to the tenor sing in the "Caedmon Paraphrase" and be swept away.

It is a tragedy that this brilliant, soaring, and austere work is only 25 minutes long. For all of the hours I've been listening to it, I've never lost interest. And to think I bought this used! What poor moron would give this up???

Their loss. My gain. Buy this and put it on repeat. Now.
