Come on Cinderella Let’s go dance a while Where the roses sleep Where the moon does smile On the gentle land And reaches out her hand To caress the sea Come just you and me We shall ride the waves To forgotten shores We will live in love Now and evermore We’ll forget our lives Live as man and wife In our own reprieve Peacefully we’ll live We’ll forget our tears Laugh out all our sorrow Come just you and me At least till the morrow Then may you return If it’s your desire To society’s reign And burn in its fire But if you remain We shall never wane We’ll outlive the world And all of its pain |
