Lupus - The Wolf?

We have two cats. Allis, and Lupus. Some people claim that the temperament of the cat depends upon how you treat it. We have not treated these two cats any differently, and yet, they are like day and night. Lupus? By all means, do not let his name fool you. He’s no shrewd wolf. He’s the sweetest cat I have ever met. Perhaps I have come to that conclusion by comparing him to my princess, but… no… we have had other cats. Cats that I all loved. But Lupus stirs a special part of your soul. His fur is soft as silk, his eyes a lovely green surrounded by blackness, like Egyptian makeup. And there’s something in his eyes… Something that just digs into you, and tells you to love him. If I didn’t know better, I would think he knew magic of some kind, and was well skilled in the spell of ‘charm’.

He and Allis are the best of friends. Seldom have I seen cats get along as well as they do. She is eight years. He’s one. I think the greatest reason to their mutual love is the fact that while she is dominant, he is not. She can push him around, and he won’t really mind. The little darling just purrs, curls up into a ball, and falls asleep.
He loves water, darling Lupus. Few cats do, but he’s one of them. I’ve bathed with him once when he was younger. I’ve not done it again, I don’t know why. He has a bowl of water in the hall, for the cats to drink from. But he lies there, all day, dipping his beard and nose into the water and just… enjoying himself. Sometimes, he purrs and looks so content you’d think that the water is his very best friend.
