The last F-5 World Wide Review (WWR) in San Antonio took place from October 25-29. Representatives from U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy and 17 countries attended the event. The WWR was held in conjunction with the F-5 Trade Show where approximately 50 contractors had booths. I had the "pleasure" of giving the "State of the F-5 Technical Coordination Group (TCG)" briefing on Monday, October 25. I'm glad that the WWR went well and that the conference was successful. Over the last few months, I've attended a couple of high school reunions and saw a lot of friends from Seguin. We've been busy around the house with the usual things. Pam is a Junior in high school and Michelle is in graduate school. Jeremy recently passed the Bar exam and is practising law in Little Rock, Arkansas. It's already November, but it's still hot here in San Antonio! Guess I'll get to mow the yard a few more times between now and February. O well ... I'm still the Proven Aircraft Deputy System Program Director (SPD) in the Fighter/Trainer Aircraft Directorate. Since March, 1999, I've been detailed to this position. I also have the administrative responsibilities of the Structural Engineering Branch Chief since that is still my official job until our organization moves to Utah (Hill Air Force Base)next summer. Since I'm not planning to move, I've submitted the paperwork for "Early Retirement". This simply means that I get to find another job and start another career!
