For You
what
friend would I be
if
blind unwilling to see
wounds
that run so deep
ones
you try to keep
hidden
behind an icy blue stare
pain
so great for just one to bare
let
me hold you in a gentle embrace
my
love for you will help to erase
rawness
of your wounds that I see
seek
and you will find forever in me
a
friendship so strong and true
is
the gift I will always give you

night's
journey starts
gentle
calling wonder
claims
yearning hearts
love
by our side
peaceful
visions
magically
guide
beauty's
graceful light
delicately
unfolding
soul's
playful delight
dawn
drawing near
moments
treasured
without
lingering fear
together
now we see
awakened
pleasures
forever
meant to be

Dark
Journey
she
beckons to me from afar
distance
brought suddenly near
deep
within again I must turn
facing
the evil so many have feared
she
had reached to calm my hatred
whispered
softly to the real woman in me
but
I turned my back on her kindness
spurning
her visions of who I could be
so
for her I travel this dark journey
to
repay the great debt that is due
leaving
behind the love of my heart
praying
she'll know I'll always be true

Looms

mine
was a dark existence
desolation
my companion
dreams
no longer sought
yet
as if in a dream
blackness
slowly lifted
your
flame rekindled my soul
days
spent together
brightly
shined
melting
ice within
unable
to see in myself
revealed
by your love
light
deeply hidden set free
darkness
looms before me
closing
in my heart cries out
weeping
inconsolably for you
pain
so great it overwhelms
each
breath torment increases
why
could it not have been me
how
can I continue without you
will
this light still shine
my
heart screams out...

Near
taking
in a moment's splendor
feeling
calm inviting waves
as
they wrap around us
taking
us on our journey
together
yet seperate we may be
knowing
the day draws near
when
the moment's gone
hearts
grow heavy with the thought
until
dawn's first light emerges
bringing
us yet another moment
our
paths now so near
when
hands reach out
they
briefly touch to feel
wonder
in each new day
magic
of future nights
beauty
in knowing
moments
will be forever near
embracing
us with their light
as
we travel on our journey
seperate
yet now together forever

Healing
Light
mist
of disillusionment
clinging
thickly in the air
searching
for enchantment
from
a life no longer there
many
a dream was trampled
during
that time of uncertainty
a
vast space of emptiness
from
those distant memories
picking
up the pieces
fitting
them back into place
will
not erase the realitity
just
give the mind some space
to
free the bonds that hold it
sending
the soul into flight
flying
out of the darkness
in
search of healing light

Journey
two
lives that merge together
should
never be undone
even
through life's trials
their
strength will keep them one
choices
each in turn will make

cause deep sorrow and regret
during
those most trying of times
love
and trust they must never forget
still
growing in acceptance
of
mistakes each will make
showing
in moments of weakness
heart's
unwillingness to break
united
in unwavering commitment
determined
in their quest to see
life's
journey traveled together

Nightmare
I
arrive as if in a dream
faltering
only as I think of you
shrugging
off invading images
for
I know what I must do
with
a steely resignation
my
blade poised to make the kill
rivers
of blood must flow this night
for
that's the debt I've chosen to fill
the
dream becomes my nightmare
the
knife frozen in midair
my
heart is suddenly blinded
by
the sight of you lying there
my
friend whom I trusted so completely
welcomed
your love to enter my life
emerged
to become my betrayer
slashing
wounds far deeper than any knife
I
have no words to speak of my torment
of
emotions that rage deep within
so
I close to what's around me
to
the love there once had been
