Mr. Monster is the Michael T. Gilbert comic
book that started out as a "very obscure
comic book from 1947". In 1984, Mr. Gilbert
decided to revive the character, and a host
of comics (put out by Eclipse, Dark Horse,
and Tundra) soon followed.


Mr. Monster is basically the worlds greatest
monster fighter.  With a tongue in cheek,
dark sense of humor.  He's a superhero
that's actually Dr. Strongfort Stearn, the
world's expert in the occult, when he's being
a civilian.  When it's time to go out and
physically fight monsters, he puts on a
costume with a big fin, red goggles and just
goes out and kills them anyway he can!
