Karan Ashley portrayed Aisha Campbell for one and a half seasons between 1994-1996. She replaced Thuy Trang mid second season and was later replaced by Nakia Burrise at the end of the third season.
Aisha was the second yellow ranger and had a strong love for animals. She was vivacious and full of life and was always there for her best friend Kimberly Hart. Like Trini, she was a non-stereotyped ethnic character. She had strong African roots but at the same time she has assimilated some of the American culture. Aisha once worked on a radio station and used to live at Stone Canyon with her friends Adam Park and Rocky de Santos. The three helped Kimberly, Billy and Tommy against the evil Lord Zedd and found out their identity. The three aided the power rangers until Trini, Jason and Zack left the team. The three were then chosen to replace them.
As the second yellow ranger and the first yellow ninja ranger, Aisha faced her challenges with courage as well as energy. The girl is just full of energy and it rubs off on her fellow team mates. She commanded the sabretooth tiger zord as well as the yellow bear ninjazord.
When the evil Master Vile reversed the Earth's polarity, Aisha, the rangers and the rest of the world's ages were reduced. Aisha and the rangers then went on a quest to find individual pieces of the powerful Zeo Crystal. Aisha journey to Africa where she befriendeded a girl named Tanya Sloan and found the Zeo Crystal in the hands of her great-grandmother Ashala. Seeing that the tribe needed her help to cure a mysterious animal plague, Aisha handed the crystal to Tanya and stayed behind. She has never been heard from since but promised to return whenever the rangers need her help.
On a lighter note, Aisha has a knack for singing. She and Kat Hillard wrote the school song for Angel Grove High. She also volunteered at an animal shelter and is now putting her knowledge of animals to good use in Africa where she is working with medical researches to find a cure for a mysterious animal plague.
