Mo Thrash

Mo Thrash is the Government Affairs Director for the Atlanta law firm of McCalla Raymer, and is a full time Government Affairs Consultant for many corporations, state associations, and individual companies.  Mo has over 35 years experience dealing with all state departments and agencies, negotiating and working with all members of the Georgia General Assembly, including the leadership of the House and Senate, and dealing day to day with the personal staff of the Governor and Lieutenant Governor.  He takes great pride in his relationships and reputation among Georgia’s Congressional delegation in Washington D.C. He is also experienced in working with local government officials affiliated with cities and counties throughout Georgia. 

In 2008, Mo was named “Top Independent Small Firm Lobbyist” in Georgia by James Magazine, a highly respected and the most read magazine dedicated to Georgia politics and the Capitol. The votes came from fellow lobbyists and legislators.  

A graduate of the University of Georgia with a BBA degree in Management, Mo began an outstanding career as a residential realtor and homebuilder, receiving numerous accomplishments in the real estate industry. Mo started his political consulting career in 1974 on behalf of the Georgia Association of Realtors and was named Georgia Realtor of the Year in 1978.

Mo has many civic involvements including being a Past Chairman of the Georgia Residential Finance Authority and the first appointee to the Georgia Homeless Trust Fund Commission.  He has also served on the Georgia Board of Corrections.  Presently, he serves as a Trustee and Vice President of Camp Sunshine, an organization for children with cancer and leukemia.

 
 
 
John Haliburton

John is a full time Government Affairs Consultant for many companies, associations, trade groups, and others. John also specializes in association management consulting. He has high accomplishments in association management through one of the largest retail trade associations in this state. Since 2003, John has worked to effectively forge relationships with all members of the Georgia House, Senate, Governor’s office, Lt. Governor’s office, and every state department. His contacts and relationships with Georgia’s Congressional staffs in Washington are unique and effective. John also served under former State Representative Roger Hines, who is now the special aide and Messenger to the Speaker of the House Glenn Richardson.

John graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Speech Communication and Political Science.
