Bibliographyfor | ||
The Swimsuit Cultists are from a weight loss advertisement that always appeared in the Comics Page for some reason.
The background is from High Times. Cannibal Cannabis Buddha's body is the John R. Neill's Scarecrow from the OZ books.
Amazingly enough, nothing is borrowed here.
The grotesque green thing at the wrong end of the caterpillar is Dig'em the Frog. Rot in hell, Dig'em the Frog!
The hair is a mixture of dog hair from 3 dogs and some human pubic hair. Some of the images in the collage are: Timothy Leary, Albert Camus, a drawing of Boris Karloff in Frankenstein, John Lennon, that guy from the cover of The Cure's Standing on a Beach, Lou Reed, John Cale, St. Gulik, Sterling Morrison, "Bob", Butthead, Nosferatu, Divine and various tribesmen from Irian Jaya, Indonesia.
The Priest's body (and one of the impaled heads) is Frank N. Furter from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The other heads are John R. Neill's Tin Woodsman and the groom from I Married a Monster from Outer Space
All of the heads are taken from Liber Trinitas Profanas. They belong to: Bela Lugosi, an alien from The Outer Limits, Big Alice, Elsa Lanchester, an illustration from Mercer Mayer's One Monster After Another, and the Metalunan mutant from This Island Earth. Also present are Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and a Beaver Totem. |
