Loneliness
Hear the wind of Loneliness howl and moan.
It blows through me and chills me to the bone.
I have no refuge from its cold embrace,
So every day this torture I must face.
Loneliness surrounds me, a prison cell,
And keeps me trapped within a living Hell.
The bars I cannot break, so I won't try.
I feel I'm bound to stay here till I die.
The wounds of Loneliness will never heal.
There's no relief from this pain that I feel.
And no one ever cared enough to tend
My shattered body that will never mend.
Yes, Loneliness has been my oldest friend,
And it will be that way until the end.
Searching for love, my heart found only knives...
How welcome it will be when Death arrives.
