So, the first thing is to remove all the surface rust and prep it for paint. Then, of course, is the paint. I haven't decided on a color yet, but that will depend mostly on what the year turns out to be, because I'm hoping to restore it to an original color (even though my friend is trying to get me to paint it House of Kolors Tangerine Orange). I would ideally like some classic fifties looking color, perhaps a light blue with a white top?
Other modifications that I plan on are:
Shaved door handles
Power windows/locks
Alarm system
No back seat
Decked - removal of all the side chrome

Of course, I won't be painting it this color or filling in the nose holes, but you get the idea.
