This is not my portrait!

This is not my portrait, but it's the closest thing to a picture of me that you'll ever see in these pages.

Who am I?

I'm not particularly fond of doing bios, and I'm not really certain if they are necessary but for those who care I guess I'll put a little here.

Since I was a small child I loved to read and write, my dream was to one day become an author. Somewhere along the road however, I decided I could not write about a person I had never seen, and so I proceeded to teach myself how to draw. Eventually it was the art which became my goal, and I attended the Colorado Institute of Art to see if it was something I wanted to do for a living. School taught me that I could go out and work in the field of advertising or graphics, but that I did not want to. I do art for art's sake, pictures which express how I feel, the Art of Surrealism or pictures which show characters I may or may never write a story about, the Fantasy Illustration area, but who have demanded their presence be shown.

I have done a few shows at science fiction and comic book conventions, and my fine art has appeared at a gallery showing in Denver, CO, but my longing to share my art with others has only now become fulfilled by the media of the Internet.

My fiction has not been professionally published, though I hope one day it will be. Shadows and Stones the series I am currently running here, was originally planned to be a comic book, which I would illustrate myself. Changes in the comics industry and my own overburdening of projects prevented my submitting it to publishers, yet I still enjoy writing the stories and hope others will enjoy reading them. I am currently working on a fantasy novel and several other short stories.
