This was the first challenge I entered, I think it was around 1992. Hollywood Stars received an Honorable Mention.  It was machined pieced and hand quilted.  I combined the 54-40 or fight block and the kaleidoscope block.  I extended the kaleidoscope block into the border.  The center of each 54-40 block was selectively cut with each center being different.
