Pee Wee's Big Adventure is a fantastic movie. My grandma kept a collection of "tapes" in her tv room for the grandchildren. We used to watch PWBA, Mickey Mouse's Christmas Carol, Ghostbusters and I think even Spaceballs. I still love those movies!! PWBA was the best because it is not only eternally hilarious, but also visually entertaining, inventive and memorable. I think nearly every one in their mid-twenties adores that movie.
I am on Day 3 of the Atkins diet. I have lost 4 lbs. since Wednesday. Apparently, the first 10 lbs will consist of water weight but still, I am pleased by the quick results! However, I am thoroughly sick of bacon. Bacon was a guilty pleasure for me in the past but now I do not care if I do not have another strip ever. My suggestion for anyone who follows this diet is to make sure you do not mind eating a lot of meat. I have noticed that my appetite has dropped considerably so I actually dread my meal times because I do not feel all that hungry and because I do not want to stuff myself with meat and eggs. This morning I ate half a sausage patty and a serving of scrambled eggs. It is so weird that I was not into it at all because I have always loved scrambled eggs and breakfast meats. I now just basically shove it in and forget about it. Lunch will probably consist of some salad vegetables. I am a little concerned about dinner because I will be in a hurry this evening as I am going to the 311 concert. I'll have to figure something out!!
