Mt. Rainier National Park in Washington State is world famous for it's wildflower displays, and rightfully so. Here is a group of bunchberry taken along the road to Sunrise at Mt. Rainier.
Not to be upstaged is the semi-arid desert of eastern Washington State. This area receives only 6 inches of precip per year, but in the spring the wildflowers are abundant. This is a prickly pear blossom.
This Golden or Yellow Flag iris is common on pond edges in eastern Washington.
This sego lilly image was made in the eastern sierra nevada of central california. I made the image "fuzzy" on purpose. It is actually a multiple exposure.
