The Kabalah is the foundation stone of the Western Esoteric Tradition. It is a great body of theoretical and practical philosophy and psychology interwoven into the religious texts of the Jews, and in a vast complex of alchemical, astrological, occult, Rosicrucian and Masonic symbolism, including the Tarot, It has been called The Mysticism of the West. The Kabalah is normally classified into four parts:
1. The Practical Kabalah
2. The Literal Kabalah
3. The Unwritten Kabalah
4. The Dogmatic or Written Kabalah
The Kabalah is a philosophical and theosophical system that was originally designed to answer man's eternal questions on the nature of God and of the universe, and the ultimate destiny of mankind. As a practical system, it is based on the numerical correspondences between the various aspects of human life and the universal laws.
