It is my opinion that religion, especially some Christians, and the Catholic Church are all about controlling the minds of people for political power and financial profit. The history books contain too many instances of the evil, immoral, and corrupt conduct of the Church. Murder and torture are synonymous with the Catholic/Christian tradition. The Inquistion, the Crusades, the witch burning hysterias, and Catholic Church suppression of science and astronomy, are some fine examples. Today it is the crusade against gays and lesbians, transgendered, people who are "different", people who don't fit into their "christian ideal", etc. Some christians think they need to force their beliefs on others. Why can't they give it up and learn to love one another unconditionally like Jesus Christ, whom they unsuccessfully seek to emulate? Christians arrogantly seem to think that their religion is the only "true religion". It is time for people to stop submitting to the control of organized religion and start thinking for themselves. I am not interested in the control dramas of corrupt churches and religions that proclaim I will "burn in hell" for not following the interpretation of the Bible that they present. The King James Bible is misinterpreted bunk written by the biased and prejudiced hand of man. Religion should have no place in our government or our system of laws. War and violence is often based on religious hypocrisy. With Christians like that what do we need a devil for? What happened to love one another and "judge not, lest thee be judged"? Some day, hopefully, Unity will prevail here on planet Earth with a lot of human mind evolution. I can't wait for that day!
I follow the spiritual teachings of the Kabalah. It does not tell one what to think or believe. This way I avoid the egotistical wind-bag buffoons of organized religion. Knowledge is dangerous to the Church because it undermines their control of people's minds.
THE KABALISTIC TREE OF LIFE

My spirituality centers around the ancient teachings of the Kabalah, or Tree of Life. Kabalah means both to "receive" and to "reveal". It explains God as a Limitless Divine Source that created the whole universe and beyond in a series of Ten Holy Emanations. Kabalah is a way of life and takes years and years to learn and practice. Please try to be truly Christ-like; have unconditional love, understanding, and acceptance in your heart for your fellow human, mother Gaia, and all her creatures.
