| The waves at Sunzal are big and sufers like to spend their surfing time here or at La Libertad. There's a small town with an excellent beach break located a few miles to the west of La Libertad. El Sunzal suffers from accommodations but La Libertad is short drive by regular service. The coast to the west of El Sunzal has lots of beach breaks and a few river mouths, and it enjoys some some of the most consistent surf in the country.  |  |
