Thinking of the Apocalypse

What would you do if some natural disaster or war or industrial mishap brought an end to all of mankind? Well, actually, you'd die.

Okay, let's change it and say you and only one other person of the opposite sex are the only survivors. Then what would you do? There is the old tried and true cliché of rebuilding the human race, and I can believe there would be a strong obligation to give us a second chance and hopefully do it better.

Yet, would you love that person? In the truest of all respects, that person is your soulmate. How else can you explain that both of you cheated the probabilities and survived? Yet, is it love or just extreme desperation? It's not like you have any other choice.

THE MORAL: If you think love is a difficult subject now, consider how hard it will be after the world ends.
