Diogenes' Archive

The Diogenes mailing list is over, but it's spirit lives on.

The Simple Story of Diogenes:

The Cynic and Greek philosopher, Diogenes walked through Athens in broad daylight carrying a lighted lamp, looking for an honest man. Needless to say, he never found one.

That's what this is all about: honest observations. Nearly every day for eleven months, I wrote about something in life, explicitly describing my take on it. I tended not to deal with major world issues, but the daily and social stuff. I wanted people to face issues they would normally ignore, but unfortunately, this often unsettles people. Thinking does not hurt so I continued.

Feel free to use the search engine or the massive Archive Index that scrolls on and on below it. With some of the earlier ones, you might notice a section for comments. I used to post the comments till it became too big of job to handle. I still appreciate comments though. Have fun. Also, some might still invite you to join, but sorry, the Diogenes list has ended.

If you have trouble getting results, try limiting your search to one word at a time. I apologize, but this search engine is rather crude.
