The Day After Yesterday

People are fickle, or is that pickle? In one regard, imaginations and dreams are admired in people. We are supposed to always do our work with the betterment of the future in mind. Yet, we chide people who fill their heads with fantasies. The future is uncertain; today is now. We're supposed to savor every moment. . . live in the now. But what about the past? Those who do not remember the past are doomed to repeat it. The collected experiences of mankind are the greatest guidebook we have for life. We should always keep our eyes in regard to yesterday.

So, we're supposed to live in yesterday, today, and tomorrow. . . all at the same time? It's a law of physics that we cannot be in three places at once, but twisting the logic can make it work. Live in The Day After Yesterday. You have yesterday. Semantically, The Day After Yesterday means today. The word 'After' suggests tomorrow. In a method of schizophrenic reasoning, we do all three.
