A Get Together

At this moment, there are only a few people on this mailing list. When I got the idea to do such a crazy notion, I had the cockamamie dream that hundreds of people would be reading my thoughts for the day. Actually, only 17 people total do. The number doesn't matter though, and I think it's time you all meet one another.

Ryan - He's the one who sent out the message about Armageddon having passed. Ryan is perhaps one of he most caring hearts you will ever meet. He might be a little strange at times, but he will always be there when you need him.

Jeff - To me, Jeff looks like a Viking, but his mellow attitude would never let him massacre a village. He suffers from thinking too much, but he uses it for a good cause. He antagonizes everyone of my thoughts till I am forced to make them better.

Jason - Jason is my brother and has always provided a steady course for me to follow in life. Every time I have choice in life, I consider what his opinion would be on the matter. I respect him so.

Ray - Ray has one goal in life: to club the stupid people. He does that with me whenever I am stupid, and thus he uses Skinner conditioning to keep me from repeating stupidity.

Erin - Erin is the voice of timid reason. Whenever she responds to a Diogenes, she makes both incredible and insightful comments but always ends with saying she may be wrong. She never is, for she always teaches me something new.

Seth - As my roommate, Seth must be the poster-boy for tolerance. He's seen me in both my ups and downs and plenty of my stupid jokes. Though he is a physics major, he takes everything in stride.

Angela - As Seth's woman, she probably hears a lot about me. However, she must have a caring heart, for she does love Seth. Anyone who can say they love someone is all right in my book.

Thaer - I don't know Thaer really. Sometimes I run into him and he makes a comment, but he usually remains quiet. The world needs more like him.

JollyPac - I don't know his real name, but he does some humor mailing list. I think he's worried that I'll quit this list someday, so he's always there to encourage me.

Leah - She will make you laugh. . . till it hurts. Leah will also always make life a little interesting.

Brent - A friend from high school, Brent is the charismatic leader that people naturally follow out of his good charm. Don't. You will find an even more impressive person if you walk by his side and not behind him.

Carla - A fellow Kentuckian, I am convinced that Carla wants the best for everyone. In my life, I have noticed sneaky little proddings and traps she sets up to get me to do things. She's also a good listener and not afraid of talking back.

Zack - Another friend from Kentucky, it takes a lot to impress Zack. However, if you do, he will return with compliments and intellectual dialogue that will satiate you until you mention his name again.

Richard - Richard is probably the most depressing character on Earth. No matter how low he gets, though, he always continues with his passion for drawing. He is a model of perseverance.

Marshall - A thorn in my side on the issue of religion, he can easily raise my ire. However, if every person was cordial to each other, little disagreements would just fester. He helps keep things healthy.

Nina - Nina goes by "Calipso," and she does offer me immortality. She was the first "outsider" to join this list, meaning I've never met her or intentionally contacted her. The fact that she joined proves to me that out there in this vast world, there are wise strangers willing to listen.

That's all of you. I hope that you all get to know each other, and in case you didn't know, this was my way of telling you all. . .
Thank You
