The Meaning to Life

I just had a night to remember, no details necessary for the preservation of posterity.

Philosophers make a big deal out of determining what life is all about, the nature of god, and exactly how much 1 actually is. Religion seeks similar solutions to today's modern ponderances. They've got it all wrong.

I once said the secret to life is that other people live too. This is almost right. I believe the closer to the zeal of the truth is that just acknowledging the living of other people is not enough. The secret is to share moments with living people. Not just one moment, or two, or twenty-seven thousand moments. No number is necessary. The trick is that life is truly the most bountiful the most enthralling when after some series of moments, a group of you can separate and each one of you walk away and say clearly, "I would never give up that time for anything." Truly relishing the moment of the day with people who do the same--

that's the secret to life
