A Parable for the Modern Age

I sat down today to list
All the priorities,
Activities,
and definite needs
that I should
and must
accomplish.

This list was far too long;
No e-mail server
could ever
Carry it.

I decided to trim the list
and keep only what
I honestly,
totally,
and truly emphatically
wanted to do for me.

The list was blank.

And the world praised,
"Here is a successful man."
