March 11, 1999The Big Ugly Truth I hate to do this, but I must say it. Folks, I'm just like you, you're just like me. We are all human beings. That means that we are all subject to the same ups and downs as everyone else. We are all pedestrian. No matter how hard we dream, life will somehow fall short. Still, do not lose heart at this. I don't, and you are all like me, so neither should you. Assume that we learn only from real things. This is readily true. Now, I have often used my imagination to explain certain concepts or solve certain life's problems. I learned from them. Now, violating all rules of logic, since I have learned from my imaginings and only real things teach, then all I have imagined must be real. See, isn't everything better? So what if we are all just humans. So what if we live in a universe that most likely has it in for us. So what if life's equations don't always work out for the best. I can simply fix the ugly truth with a beautiful thought. |
