April 16, 1999Being in the List Everywhere, everything, everyone is on a list. Mailing lists, hit lists, top twenty countdown lists--we all hold rank or place somewhere. Who are your friends... you answer with a list. Who are your enemies... you answer with a list. What have you done with your life... you list the events. What does this mean? I don't know. I could list the possibilities. Perhaps it just shows how humans depend on other people. We like to link everything. Or maybe it shows the limitations of our minds to handle the vastness of the universe and instead, we must break it down to usable parts. However, no explanation is necessary. Why? List the reasons for yourself. |
