Soulmates

While watching the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, I saw a remarkable coincidence that should not happen but does and makes you just... happy. Kid animal impersonators were on. The first was a girl who impersonated sea gulls. The next was a boy who impersonated moose. Leno asked him about his age and it was the same as the girl's. He then asked about birthday month and it was the same. And then he asked the date and you guessed it... it was the same. Leno made jokes about them being soulmates, and though probably nothing will ever come of it, the sheer pushing of the highly improbable occurred on that stage tonight. The gull girl and moose boy met. We won't hear anymore about them, but perhaps a friendly mail correspondence will keep them in touch. Maybe the letters will grow into something more and there will be a couple eventually with a truly remarkable "How we met" story. Then again, maybe not. Or..?
