July 28, 1999Being Cryptic Ever utter a simple phrase in the utmost incomprehensible, esoteric dribble possible of spewing from a drunken satyr on a tilt-a-whirl till the point that all meaning is lost in the message? No, I never do that. Sometimes it just feels comfortable to know you said something while everyone else is oblivious to your true intentions. It's a self-defeating argument. You feel better but know you are still a coward for not saying what you should. Sometimes you didn't say it out of fear of embarrassment, fear of being hurt, or fear for the sake of fear. You just didn't say plain out. Instead, you obscure the word as far as possible. I did it again. |
