OZ

Oz is one of my all time favourite. It was printed in pocket book format a long time ago.
There are 4 volumes containing 10 chapters. This sci-fi story is set up in year 2021 ; 31 years after
the World War III (as it said in the book) After the War, all civilizations were destroyed in 40 minutes. Every inch of earth was covered
with ice for years. Less than half of the population survived. After that many small countries emerged and were fighting each other.
Every country was building their own military unit. A skilled soldier was very high in demand....

There are a lot of similatities between this story and the movie "Wizard of OZ"
In Wizard of OZ, Dorothy was trying to find her way home. Along the way she met a robot, a lion and many more.
In this story, Felicia; the leading character ( from the japanese katagana ) was trying to find her uncle then she decided to look for her older brother instead.
Her brother sent her a beautiful but dangerous robot to guild her to Oz.
Anyway, this story was very popular in Japan many years ago and I heard from a unreliable source that it was made into OAV. (original animated video)
I have never seen the OAV so if someone can confirm me, I would really appreciate it.
