SECOND THOUGHTS
©1983
There are times I feel lonely,
ashamed and out of place,
times I feel
depressed and lost,
afraid to show my face,
times I'd like to tell the world
my viewpoints and demise,
but stop myself in spite of it
to translate and revise.

CORNERS

A corner is where
Two shades of gray meet
Yet where a wall separates.
A MODEST ELECTION
©1983
Well, hello my friends
I see we've met ends
to vote on the next
king to be.
We know who's the most,
so let's drink a toast
to the incomparable,
lovable me.
DISNEY
PLAYMATES

©1983
I once met a Kanga
named Roo
whose neighbor was
Teddy Le Pooh.
They played silly games
and whistled at dames
whenever in doubt
what to do.
THE WILD WEST
©1981
Such is the life
of a real cow hand:
His mother is a hooker,
his father is a cook,
his uncle is a bank teller
who doubles as a crook.
His aunt pours the drinks
at the Treetop Waltz Saloon.
Her tips are such
she gives too much
so lines form at her room.
SHE
©1982
There once was a virgin
who thought it so urgent
to fuck every man
she would meet.
Although they would love her
directly above her,
her trouble was
being discrete.
INSIGHT ©circa 1977
Is there anyone in there?
I can hear you
yet I cannot see you.
Are you really there?
I am blind from the inside.

IDOLS ©1977
The ugly idols of hell
shall wait not long enough,
for I shall never accept
their invitation.

BECAUSE OF YOU
©circa 1977
Because of you
I shall sink
into the nothingness
of an endless hole,
dark miles deep.
Because of you
my life was wounded
and ruined.
Yes! I shall return;
and leave? I shall not!
DARKNESS ©1977
Have you ever seen a room
being washed by the
darkness of old shadows?
I have -- and each time
they chase me away.
Yet!
There shall be one day when
I will not be driven away.
I shall be consumed,
when my hour comes;
I shall join them and
become a part of them,
a section of their four corners.
