Image of the month
It is a known fact that everyone will have a
different opinion on which image is the best.
I am not trying to pick the best image, but picking an image that I personally liked.
I am sure that we will all agree on the fact that this is an excellent image!

On New Years Day, I spotted this young raccoon while driving the unpaved road in the Andrews Wildlife Management Area in northwest Florida. Because raccoons are basically nocturnal, I had never had the opportunity to photograph one in daylight before. I was quite pleased that it did not flee the area. Instead, it climbed a tree and ran up to the end of a broken limb to watch me set up my tripod and mount my Minolta 700si, 600mm f4 and 1.4x teleconverter. -Ken Maher |
