The mysterious brown cloak that's been hanging on the hat stand for three days and nobody seems to own suddenly moves.

Hello all, another newbie here, been lurking a couple of days. People call me all sorts of things, based on which alter-ego they happened to meet, but at the moment it's just cj. I'm a first-year uni student, whatever ppl call that in the rest of the world, and my univeristy actually allows me to do a whole degree on creative writing, aren't I lucky.

I better shut up and move this damn harp that's sticking into my back, so I can sit down. Good to be here.

Doug Clegg

I've probably written too much here about what I write, but I'll do it one more time . I write thrillers and horror fiction. Horror fiction under my own name (Doug Clegg) and thrillers under the name Andrew Harper (my new one, Bad Karma, is just now in the stores in hardcover). I've also written short stories, probably published about 29 of them as of yesterday. Prior to all this fiction (six novels published so far, five further under contract), I did some print journalism for magazines and worked in research in tv news in Los Angeles (for just under two years). There, ya got my resume.

I've really enjoyed this list.
