I've been real busy and haven't had much time to write to you all
anyway. I have been writing on my first novel a lot. My girl friend soon to be wife gets mad at me because when I get rolling I don't come out of my office, or should I say spare bedroom-turned-office, 'til the wee hours of the morning. I kind of like the solitude anyway though I'm never along for I have Spike, the Iguana with me all the time sitting in his cage I built that takes up most of east wall of my office.
I am 40 and a native Californian who lives in the foothills of the
Sierras a lest an hour away from any major city and a half hour away from the nearest town. I have no children and have never been married. When I marry Nickie late this spring I turn father, grandfather, and great-grandfather all at once. Nickie's not old just 52 but her oldest married a man about Nickie's age and has grown kids with kids and that's how, how at 40 I become all three at once.
I'm new here, only about two months and am new at computing, about six months there. I have the inkling that you all have a spot for real time chat and would like to visit some time. I had a bad crash a little while ago from a Trojan Horse, so some say. I think I was trying to do too much at once so I added 32 MB more of RAM to the 16 MB I already had. Because of the crash I lost a lot of info so I haven't been able to find my info on Writing Chat. So if you do get together in real time please let me know if you would like for me to visit.
