NWT Arts Council

November 1996

In September of 1996 I had received the NWT Arts Council grant to create three northern images but was having problems with getting the supplies in.  Meanwhile, to keep myself going, I started to do different design lessons.  One was in pen and ink using circles, triangles, squares, and rectangles. As a traditional quilter I had used many of these shapes in my quilts.  Now, I took these shapes and changed, enlarged, and overlapped them to create this quilt.
