A couple of years ago I bought myself a long awaited piano.  I had wanted to learn to play since I was young and now that I am older I thought it was time to do so.  I bartered two quilts to cover some of the cost of the piano.  This is the first quilt done.  

Snow is something we live with for a fairly long time each year in the North.  Trying to capture the subtle shifts of light in fabric was a challenge.  I learned a lot making this quilt.
