DO YOU RUN

Do you run Misty, do you run
do you run to the hills, run to the sun
do you run through pasture, run through dale
do you run through meadows, run through vale

Do you climb the hill
what do you see
do you see the green fields
the flowers and the bees

Do you walk Misty, do you walk
do you walk these paths of flint and chalk
do you walk in the forest in the dead of the night
do you see the trees bathed in soft moonlight

Do you see the barn owl, the roe deer, the bat
do you see the vixen and cubs, the little brown rat
do you smell the lavender, do you smell the fen
do you see the badger, hear the little wren

Would you walk with me misty
through the forest, through the hidden dell
would you walk with me through heaven
walk with me through hell

Would you walk in my forest
in the dark night
would you marvel at natures wonders
to be seen in a new light

Would you climb my hill Misty
and wonder at the sights
would you smile at me sweetly
would your eyes sparkle in the light
