So...in Wonder Woman section "The Circle" and "Who is Wonder Woman?"; in Spider-Man section "Kraven's First Hunt", "Trials & Tribulations" and "Soul of the Hunter"; in JLA section "Justice" (vol. 1-3) and "JLA/Cyberforce"; in Media Tie-In section, Dr. Who: Agent Provocateur and Heroes, vol. 1; in Iron Man section "The Five Nightmares"; in Legion of Super-Heroes section "The Life and Death of Ferro Lad"; in Buffy the Vampire Slayer section "No Future for You" and "Wolves at the Gate"; in Fantastic Four section "Nobody Gets Out Alive"; in Miscellaneous Super-Hero section "Aquaman: Once and Future"; and a brand new Thor section which, in addition to my previous Thor reviews, includes "The Eternals Saga" (vol. 1-2) and the first collection of Styraczynski's run; and in the Miscellaneous NON-superhero section, Hellblazer: Rare Cuts and Howard the Duck: Media Duckling. PLUS...did a piece on what I dub the Madness of Brainiac 5 saga in my They Ain't Trade Paperbacks...but They Should Be section. Pant! Gasp! Whew!
Jan. 27, 2009: Added reviews of some recent releases including: "Superman: Escape from Bizarro World" (Superman section); "Green Arrow/Black Canary: For Better or for Worse" (Green Lantern/Green Arrow section); "Star Wars Visionaries" (Star Wars section); "Lone Ranger: Lines Not Crossed" and "Xena: Contest of Pantheons" (Media Tie-In section); plus a few older books..."Spider-Man: Identity Crisis" (Spider-man section); "X-Men Vignettes", vol. 1 (X-Men section) and "Logan: Shadow Society" (Wolverine section). I keep thinking I should make a part of my reviews how much I paid for the books, 'cause how much something cost can impact on whether it seems "worth it". 'Cause looking at the above list, all the books I either got a little, or a lot, on sale, or from the library!
Dec. 2: Added reviews of "Project Superpowers", "DC: The New Frontier", "Inhumans", and "Northguard: Manifest Destiny" to Miscellaneous Super-Hero section; "Ex Machina: The First Hundred Days", "Bat Lash: Guns and Roses", "The Mammoth Book of Best Crime Comics" and "Hellblazer: the Red Right Hand" to Miscellaneous Non-Superhero section; "Elric: The Making of a Sorcerer", "Indiana Jones Omnibus volume 2" and "Savage Red Sonja: Queen of the Frozen Wastes" to my Media Tie-in section; "Essential Daredevil, vol. 4" to Daredevil section; "Ultimate Fantastic Four: Doom" to Fantastic Four section; "Essential Spider-Man, vol. 2 and 3" to Spider-Man section; and a whole section devoted to Dracula TPBs, and added a "Dracula vs. Zorro" review. Anything else? Probably.
Oct. 7: Added a review of "Daredevil: Guardian Devil" to my Daredevil section (I'd actually sat on that review for a bit, wanting to re-read the story befrore I decided on what I thought of it), as well as modified (and re-rated) a couple of other DD books...all in my Daredevil section; and added a review of "X-Men: First Class - Tomorrow's Brightest" to my X-Men section (as well as corrected the credits list for the Astonishing X-Men TPBs).
Sept. 23: Big Breath! In their respective self-named sections: Captain America: Bicentennial Battles, Ultimate Fantastic Four: The Fantastic, Essential Rampaging Hulk, Essential Iron Man 2, Superman: End of the Century, Astonishing X-Men: Torn (and) Unstoppable, Logan (ie: Wolverine section): Path of the Warlord, Justice League Adventures: Magnificent Seven and Crisis on Multiple Earths vols. 2 & 3 (JLA section) and a brand new Legion of Super-Heroes section with some reviews; plus some Star Wars movie adaptation reviews. PLUS...in Miscellaneous Super-Hero section: Invaders Classic, vol. 2, The Doom Patrol Archives 4 and the semi-classic Death of Captain Marvel, and Miscellaneous Non-superhero section: Tom Strong, Book One and Devi, vol. 2. Have I forgotten any? Probably. Plus I haven't checked all the crosslinks and cover scans, but I'll fix any errors next time.
July 7: As you may all've noticed...my up-dates tend to be slow...but massive.
