The Bun Shop (SH5)

The bun shop is a cosy, halfling run eatery on Highbridge street. The building has a cheery feel, with a slightly dusty wooden floor scattered with thick rugs, and in winter, a bright log fire. The building is light and airy during the day, and in the evening is comfy and warm. The bun shop sells pies and sandwiches and a variety of fruit cocktails devised by the owner Julius Tweed. The bun shop is usually half full at any given time, with small groups of halflings clustering around tables, and any number of "respectable" people. Many of the clerks and other semi professionals that work in the offices on Hightower come to eat their lunch here. The PCs might just pop in for their lunch and think no more. On the other hand, they may come for a completely different reason.

The bun shop is the primary place where information is exchanged between network agents that are being observed, thieves guild members that are on the run or indeed anyone who wishes to transfer information without being noticed. Julius Tweed recieves messages when he is paid at the till, and then conceals them in the sandwiches of the reciever of the message, often amongst the lettiuce!
