This was one of the first exercises of documentation (of historic structures) undertaken by me. A team of 18 persons worked for 45 days on this project  (completed in 1988). Drawings were prepared on tracing sheets using pen and ink.

Constructed in 1564 this building is situated in Gwalior and  embodies the structure of Lodi Style with ornamental features derived from the architectural productions of Gujrat. Its a synthesis of mode of one and treatment of other brought about by its geographical location.
