Most of
the images were shot using the Nikon N90s 35mm SLR camera. The multi-segment matrix metering and quick auto focus make this camera a joy to use. With accurate auto focus and exposure, even an amateur such as myself can take relatively good photos. 90 percent of my shots are shot in the Program Mode in auto focus mode. That's how much faith I have in my camera.
I primarily use Fujichrome Velvia film. It's a color slide film (ISO 50) which is extremely
sharp and the colors quite vivid. Provia 100F is also an excellent fine-grained
all around slide film which I use from time to time. Kodak's Ektachrome E 100vs is another fine choice with good color saturation. On rare occasions
when I want color prints, I like the Fuji NPS (ISO 160) for portraits and
the Kodak Royal Gold 100 for general photography.
This site was created to pass on some photo tricks I've learned along the way to friends and family. It's basically an excuse to try my hand at HTML. Original 35mm color slides scanned onto Kodak Photo C.D. The graphics and photos were sized and cropped in Paint Shop Pro 7. View more samples of my images. at
