Here is a half pipe skate ramp near my hostel. I have also seen
a few of these ramps in parks around Holland. I'm assuming the government just lets the
skater take full responsibility if he/she gets hurt. A quote from a girl who almost
got ran over by her boyfriend while she was riding her bike, "This isn't America, I'm
not going to sue him!" The same logic must go with skaters and the local government.
