My Interests
Inquisition was originally a kitchen-sink type
of 'zine which I put out here and there for several years but it's become a web site and
has been up and running for a couple of months so far. And what a couple of hectic months
have they been. All this time I haven't introduced myself: I'm Armando Valle. Nice to meet
you. I'm 25 years old and hispanic, originally from Puerto Rico. I live in Baltimore, MD,
where I work any old job by the day and pursue my love for art at night. I write, write
and write: Poetry, Reviews, Essays, Fiction, etc. I'm currently developing a novel. My
other obsession is filmmaking, and I'm also cooking up an independent film to direct. If I
don't sound busy enough, on top of those things, I'm learning to play the acoustic guitar,
cook regularly and let me not forget all the work I put on this web site.
My interests are too many to completely list but they include:
Computer Games--Although I play straight video games, Playstation specifically, I love PC
games. My favorite type is real-time strategy, such as StarCraft and Total
Annihilation. Movies--Of course. Some of my favorite directors are Steven Spielberg,
Martin Scorscese, Oliver Stone, Federico Fellini, Wim Wenders, David Cronenberg, David
Lynch, Spike Lee, Quentin Tarantino and many others. Favorite films of mine are Pulp
Fiction, Goodfellas, Saving Private Ryan, Videodrome, Natural
Born Killers, Wings of Desire, Blue Velvet, and Trainspotting.
I'll tell you more about myself later as I expand on my bio but
